today when i come to hospital for my emergency duty i got one patient of MI in over .there was no attended with him .i wanted to do ECG but the ECG machine of my hospital is broken down .then I looked for injection Streptokinase but it was out of stock .Other staff nurses know him personally they called up his family members but no one offer financial for him so we can arrange it privately .there was no one with him so we can not refer him .ultimately when his relatives arrived hospital he was died .
we doctors are doing emergency duty here in government hospital without any emergency equipment and drugs .We do not have even Intracath,IV fluids,AMBU bag .
Government hospitals are the last option for many people .If the higher or upper middle class of india ,beurocrates and politicians of india thinks that they will have never been in government hospital they are wrong .causality or accident can happen any where and with anyone and the government hospital will be there first place for treatment.
